Andrew Francis’s musical journey began at age four with piano, where he quickly demonstrated an exceptional ear for music. Over the past decade, he has expanded his skills to include harp performance and music composition. He has consistently earned superior ratings at annual judged piano recitals and was selected as the solo pianist in his middle school band.
His talent as a composer has been recognized throughout middle school, with his original works selected each year for performance at his school district’s Annual Harp Recital through the district’s Student Composition and Arrangement Contest.
As harpist in his middle school orchestra, Andrew contributed to earning Sweepstakes (all superior ratings) at UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Contests and has achieved personal success at regional Solo & Ensemble competitions. He performed advanced, college-level harp solos in concert and competition, earning superior ratings and praise from his teachers and event judges.
Andrew’s dedication to both performance and composition reflects not only technical skill but a deep passion for music.
