Genevieve Axelia Santoso


Genevieve Axelia Santoso, 13 years old, is from Probolinggo, East Java Indonesia. She started her violin lesson at the age of three under the guidance of Hartanti with Suzuki method. She then regularly joins Suzuki camps and conference in Bali & Karawaci – Indonesia, Manila – Phillipines.

Since 2021, Axelia takes lesson with Shienny Kurniawati and joins String Orchestra of Surabaya. With SOOS, Axelia has performed with many distinguised musician and conductor such as Vio-Lah with Wang Xu and Foo Say Ming at Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore (2024), Musical Journey : Harp and Dance with Rama Widi at Surabaya (2024), Dances for The Soul at Radjawali Cultural Center Semarang (2023), Georgetown String Festival under button of Young-Eon Kim (2023)

Axelia was a soloist in Mozart’s Concerto KV 190 with SOOS at the Iskandar and Young Talents Concert (2024). She holds a Diploma Certificate from the London College of Music (2025).

Axelia develops her skills through masterclasses with distinguished teachers such as Dr. Vincent Chao and Prof. I-Hao Lee. In 2025 she joined the I-Hao Lee Program in China, an intense 2-week summer camp.

She enjoys playing and perform in chamber and orchestra. She joined Southeast Asia String Festival, Bali (2023), Orchestra of Music Maker Camp, Singapore (2023), and perform at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, Singapore (2024 & 2025)
