Penelope Rosales

Penelope Rosales, 13, is an eighth-grade student at Windward School and has studied piano with Victoria Roizen for the past three and a half years.

Penelope is a 2026 Pianist of the Year Award Winner of the London Young Musician Competition and the 2025–26 Season 4 Platinum Prize Winner of the London Young Musician Piano Concerto Competition. She is also the 1st Place Winner of the 2025 Colibri Instrumental International Piano Competition and the 2nd Place Winner of the 2025 Alice Frazier Kitchen Memorial Scholarship Competition.

A multiple-year winner of the MTAC Hollywood Branch Winter Festival (2022–2025), Penelope earned the Junior Grand Prize in 2023. She has also been recognized as a winner in the Classical Era Competition (2023–2025), receiving the Junior Grand Prize in 2025, and is a Branch and Regional Winner of the SCJBF (2023–2025). As a winner of the 2026 Robert Turner Piano Concerto Competition, she had the honor of performing with a live orchestra at the winners concert.

In 2025, Penelope passed the MTNA/CAPMT District 3 Level 7 Piano Auditions with a top score of “5” and was invited to perform at the Southern Celebration Festival in January 2026. She also successfully passed the Certificate of Merit State Exam Level 7 and was invited to perform at the MTAC Convention (2023–2026).
