Aadhitya Raam Ashok (ALCM) is 15 years old and is studying 10th grade in John P. Stevens High School, Edison NJ. He began his musical studies at a tender age of three when he enrolled in the Yamaha Music School, Bergen, NJ. He in enrolled in Corollo Scholarship for last four years. He completed his London College of Music ALCM and Diploma (DipLCM) exams with distinction. He did his first composition when he was just five years. He has won numerous awards since then including some top prizes. Some of the awards he has won are – National Finalist (MTNA) thrice, Winner in Eastern Division thrice (MTNA) and Winner in New Jersey State six times (MTNA) in a row in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Composition competition. He won Gold Medal in National Young Maestro Composition Competition couple of times. He is also finalist in National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and finalist in NJMEA twice consecutively. He was placed first degree in Golden Key International and National Piano composition competition twice in a row. He also won the grand prize in Rising Talents festival. He also plays Trombone, Tuba, Baritone horn, Clarinet at his school and has also composed pieces for the school band. He has performed in various locations in US and abroad and notable ones are Carnegie Hall, Erbhar Sal (Vienna, Austria), Osimo Italy, New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Cerritos Performance Arts Theater LA and Sharp Theater. He also performed in many places across Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey and some of them are Engelman Recital Hall – Baruch College, Merkin Concert hall, Central Unitarian Church, Italian Theatre, Ryder University, Newark School of Arts (NSA), S.V. Temple, HATCC Temple and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a regular performer in temples and churches in New Jersey. In spare time, Aadhitya loves listening to music, playing video games, reading fiction books and playing with his little brother.
