Alaina Galt

Alaina Galt, a native of Dallas, Texas, is a junior pursuing Bachelor of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education at Texas Tech University. Most recently, she has placed second place in the Art of Opera category of the Great Composers competition, an international and prestige competition. She also recently appeared in 2019 as a Young and Emerging Artist with Music in the Marche in Italy. In the spring of 2020, she performed with Texas Tech Opera Theatre as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote. In the spring of 2021, she will return with Texas Tech Opera Theatre in their production of Weill’s Street Scene as the role of Greta Fiorentino.
