Analiese Criss

Analiese is a sixth grade student at Iles School. She has been studying flute for three years under the direction of Dr. Abigail Walsh.

Analiese won First Place this year in the UIS Solo competition for grades 5-8, and performed her winning solo piece on the Sangamon Auditorium stage as part of the Spring UIS Orchestra concert.

Analiese scored Superior ratings at the District 186 Solo and Ensemble competitions in both 2020 and 2021, and 2022 and was accepted into the Illinois Youth Symphony Orchestra this Fall.

She won first place in both the 2022 Symphony Concerto competition and first place in Symphony Guild Scholarship in 2022 as well.

She would like to thank all of her family, friends and community for their support as she continues to grow as a musician.
