Chin-Hsuan Cheng

Chin-Hsuan Cheng, a Taiwanese pianist, received her undergraduate degree from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Department of Music, and has been honored NTNU academic excellence award and piano excellence scholarship by Hugo Culture and Education Foundation during her undergraduate studies.

Chin-Hsuan is active in piano performing. She has held piano solo recitals in 2019 and
2021, and has been a selected finalist for NTNU piano concerto competition. She has also played in master classes of András Schiff, Andrzej Dutkiewicz, Chih-Long Hu, Chun-
Chieh Yen, Evan Wong, Gwendolyn Mok, Kuan-Yu Eric Chen, Jerry Wong, and Michael Shinn.

In addition, she participated in music festivals, including 2018 Shenzhen East/West International Piano Festival, 2019 CHOPIN GÓRECKI Music Festival, and 2019 East/West International Piano Festival. During festivals, she has given solo performances in Shenzhen Concert Hall in Shenzhen, China, Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina Concert Hall in Warsaw, Poland, and Myongji University (명지대학교) in Seoul, South Korea.

Ms. Cheng received Graduate Merit-based Scholarship from the keyboard area in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Music, and is currently studying her master’s degree in piano performance and literature.
