Dennis Gabriel Wu

My name is Dennis and I’m 8 years old. I started taking weekly piano lessons with Dr. Qian Yin in the winter of 2019. But four months later, the pandemic started and I stopped my piano learning. In late 2020, I resumed my piano lessons with Dr. Yin via FaceTime. Around Xmas 2021, I went back to Dr. Yin’s home studio wearing a mask. In the spring of 2022, I recorded a Haydn piano concerto in F major and got a chance to play the piece with a local symphony in Katowice Poland. Nowadays I spent most of after-school time playing soccer, practice piano and sometimes teach my mom piano.
