Jeffrey Wang

Currently living in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Jeffrey Wang is a junior at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. He has been studying piano for almost ten years, 6 of which have been with his current teacher, Ruo Huang Balko. Previously, Jeffrey has won many accolades, including First Prize at the King’s Peak International Music Competition, First Prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, First Prize in the Florida Federation of Music Clubs Senior Concerto Competition, Second Prize in the Nomea International Piano Competition, Third Prize in the VI Paderewski International Piano Competition, Third Prize in the Wonderkeys International Piano Online-Competition, and Second Prize in the FSMTA District 6 Senior Concerto Competition. Additionally, he has participated in numerous piano programs, including the Curtis Young Artist Summer Program, Eastern Music Festival, and FSU Piano Institute – Piano Plus program. He has received masterclasses and lessons from Norman Krieger, Awadagin Pratt, Read Gainsford, Peter Miyamoto, and David Kalhous.
