Melody Yang

Melody Yang is a 17 year old from Houston, Texas. She has been playing the piano for 10 years and currently studies with Dr. Mei Rui. Over the years, she has accumulated numerous awards from competitions and garnered a significant amount of performance experience. She has won numerous awards through competitions such as Houston Forum Young Artist, Houston Chopin Society, Concert Festival, Texas Music Teachers Association and Spotlight International. Some performance venues include Carnegie Hall, Liya Cockrell Theatre, Rice University’s Duncan Hall, and more.
