Savannah Howard

Savannah Howard, 19, is from Hendersonville, North Carolina, and currently studies piano with Dr. Ronald Shinn. She has won top prizes in many music competitions including: the Odin International Piano Competition, the Future Stars International Piano Competition, the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition, the Nashville Steinway Competition, the Gulf Coast Steinway Competition, the UAH Piano Competition, the Bush Hills Music Club Scholarship Competition, the Helen Boykin Piano Competition, the Donna P. Shugart Sonata Competition, and the Lois Pickard Concerto Competition. She made her orchestral debut with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra in 2019, and has also made an appearance with the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra. Savannah has also had many masterclasses with esteemed pianists such as: Julian Martin, Alexander Kobrin, Arthur Greene, Marina Lomazov, and Joseph Rackers. Savannah also has enjoyed attending many prestigious summer music institutes such as the Brevard Music Center, the International Institute for Young Musicians, the Vivace International Music Festival, the ECU piano festival, the Lee University Piank Festival and Competition, and the Piano and Chamber Music Institute.
