Sofia Renata Parra

Sofia Parra is 12 years old from Bethesda, Maryland, and a student of Professor Tanya Anisimova since the Summer of 2019. She joined the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras on August 2020. She enjoys performing her cello with the orchestra, but even more as a soloist. She has been awarded 1st Prize in the National Philharmonic Bach Competition 2021, The Muse 2022 International Competition, and the Grand Prix in the Rising Talents Festival 2021-2022.
