Emma Li is a dedicated 14 year old pianist, a Year 8 student at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), currently studying piano under the tutelage of Ian Munro. She started learning piano at the age of 5, and started to pick up the clarinet along the way at the age of 10.
Emma is a well accomplished musician, and has won numerous awards, Eisteddfods and competitions, including winning First Prize in the International Kayserberg Competition twice in a row (2023, 2025), and has also been invited by Piano Star to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. She has successfully completed her AMusA in 2024, and is now preparing for her LMusA examination later this year.
Emma is eager to continue to participate in a wide range of musical projects and performance opportunities, and she hopes to continue playing and performing music into her adulthood.
