Aakriti Kasturi has been a student of piano from the age of 5. Her first teacher was Sharon Rosen, who taught the Suzuki method, so Aakriti could learn to play by ear.
What started as a casual hobby has quickly turned into a genuine love for the instrument. Her current teacher, Eric Liu has encouraged her to push her boundaries and evolve beyond technique, and use music to express passion and emotions.
Aakriti is greatly enjoying her musical journey and hopes to continue learning and performing.
