When I was 5, I started taking piano lessons, which was the start of my musical journey. I’ve been taking voice lessons since 7 years old. In January, I participated in this competition (the Charleston International Music Competition) for the first time which, after I tied for second place, gave me more confidence in my singing and performance abilities. In June I sang ensemble in a performance of the opera “Down in the Valley” by Kurt Weill, organized by my music teacher. Recently this summer, I had the pleasure of being in a theater summer camp at Mother Seton Regional High School in Clark, NJ where we put on a performance of Matilda Jr. I hope to be in a performance of the opera “Amahl and the Night Visitors” in November, which will also be organized by my voice teacher. I enjoy singing musical theatre pieces and acting.
