Hi, I’m Alaric – and Here’s My Music Story!
No one told me I had to learn music. I just wanted to.
When I was a toddler, my mom got me a little piano. I didn’t know how to play it, but I loved banging on the keys and making noise. I’ve always moved whenever I hear music—like my body just knows what to do. I think music has always been a part of me, even before I knew what it was.
One day, I asked if I could learn piano for real. Since then, I’ve been practicing almost every day. The feeling of figuring out a song on my own, one note at a time, is kind of like solving a puzzle and telling a story at the same time.
Sometimes it’s just me messing around with new sounds, trying to see what happens. It’s my way of thinking, feeling, and being quiet and loud all at once.
I once got to be Mozart in a school show. That was fun—I got to dress up, perform, and imagine what it might’ve been like to live in his time. It made me think about how music connects people across years, even centuries.
I’m still just getting started, but every time I play, it feels like I’m building something that’s mine—one note at a time.
