Alek was born in Los Angeles, California and started playing piano at the age of 6. He has performed in multiple recitals, impressing his audience with his talent. He enjoys playing duets with his older brother as well as helping his younger sister develop her musical skills. He has participated in the Music Teachers of California Certificate of Merit program and received state honors. In addition to piano, Alek enjoys playing soccer and art.
