My name is Alesandra Montgomery. I am 12 years old and currently in the 6th grade at Hood View Adventist School in Oregon. I am a straight A student, a basketball player, a skier, in our school choir, and an elected student leader.
I started singing at a very young age, and started voice and piano lessons when I was three-and-a-half years old. I have performed in various piano/ vocal festivals and concerts every year.
I recently won District for Baroque Festival, and sang for the State Final recital. I can sing different types of music, but classical is my favorite. I particularly love to sing songs from The Phantom of the Opera; however, I chose “Lascia Ch’io Pianga” for this competition as it’s my favorite Baroque song.
Music is my passion because I came from a family that loves and appreciates music. I wish to sing in a Broadway show someday.
