Alex Yan is 12 years old and is currently attending Shanahan Middle School in Columbus, OH.
He has been studying piano for 6 years and has performed in 6 piano recitals and 4 school talent shows. For four consecutive years, Alex has earned Superior ratings from the National Federation of Music Clubs, reflecting his dedication and consistent excellence. He has also successfully passed the ABRSM Piano Grade 6 exam with distinction.
In addition to piano, Alex plays the violin in his middle school orchestra and has participated in 3 school concerts as a violinist.
Outside of music, Alex is passionate about ice hockey and visual arts. His artwork has been featured multiple times on the cover of the school yearbook, highlighting his creativity and artistic talent.
