Amani is a versatile young artist and third-year harpist who has filled her home with beautiful singing for as long as she has been able to talk. Dedicated to the vocal arts since the age of six, her journey includes a brief study of classical Indian singing, which added a unique depth to her musical foundation. She currently sings with Cantabile Youth Singers and trains under the distinguished tutelage of acclaimed soprano Ms. Diana Skavronskaya, whose mentorship profoundly opened Amani’s eyes to a deep and lasting love for opera.
No stranger to the stage, Amani is an expressive performer who truly lives to dance. Under expert guidance, she has developed a vocal style characterized by technical precision and a genuine appreciation for the artistry and uniqueness of the classical tradition. Her disciplined approach to music is balanced by a keen interest in mathematics and a love for dogs. An active spirit, she also enjoys the energy of volleyball, swimming, badminton, and snowboarding. Amani is honored to bring her refined vocal work and vibrant energy to the Charleston International Music Competition.
