
Amelie Wu began studying piano at the age of four and is currently under the instruction of Jenny Chen. She has developed a solid technical foundation and a thoughtful approach to musical expression through consistent training and performance.
Amelie has participated in several regional and international piano competitions. Her awards include First Prize at the Los Angeles Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, Second Place and Honorable Mention at the Pacific International Piano Competition, Third Prize at The Royal International Piano Competition, and First Prize at the 2025 MTAC Diamond Bar Fall Festival.
She has a particular interest in the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and enjoys exploring expressive and lyrical repertoire. In addition to competitions, Amelie regularly performs in recitals and has participated in multiple community outreach concerts at senior living facilities, using music as a way to connect with audiences and share meaningful musical experiences. She values steady progress through focused practice and thoughtful performance.
