Andrew Chen and Zibo Nie are young violinists who share a passion for music and community performance. Both students have been studying the violin for several years and actively participate in school and youth orchestra programs. Through their musical training, they have developed strong technique, musical expression, and a love for performing.
Andrew and Zibo formed their duet ensemble to explore chamber music and to share their music with the community. They especially enjoy performing for senior living communities and local events, where they hope their music can bring joy and connection to audiences.
They performed “Canzonetta” by C. Dancla, a charming and lyrical piece that highlights the elegance and expressive qualities of the violin.
Watch Andrew Chen and Zibo Nie perform Canzonetta by C. Dancla on the violin and viola for the 2026 Classical Music Competition as part of the Charleston International Music Competition.
