I started playing piano when i was 11 during the covid pandemic out of boredom, and i was self taught, other than following youtube tutorials. After 2 years of that, I found my piano teacher and she completely fixed my hand technique and taught me sight reading, and since then, my skills skyrocketed. I began playing things I never imagined I could play even 5 months ago- even getting invited to play at carnegie hall several times.
