
Anika Shanbhag is a high-school student from Northern Virginia. She started singing at the age of six and has sung in various genres, including musical theatre, pop, and classical. She is an active member of her school’s Symphonic Choir and A capella group, where she hones her art in choral and pop music. She studies classical music under the tutelage of Amy Ayre, delving into operatic works in German, Italian, and English. She has performed at Carnegie Hall with the Children’s Chorus of Washington and has won awards from the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Additionally, she has performed with the Asian American Music Society’s International Summer Music Institute in Todi, Italy.
