Anna Courtney Snecinski

Anna is a 17-year-old pianist from Tampa, Florida. She began playing the piano at the age of five, and has been studying with Dr. Ghadeer Abaido from the University of South Florida since 2022.
Some of her recent, notable piano accomplishments include earning superior ratings in local piano festivals, accompanying her school’s choirs at concerts and competitions, playing in the selective Straz Center—Patel Conservatory’s student pit orchestra, playing in two masterclasses with pianists Mackenzie Melemed and Golda Vainberg-Tatz, and attending Interlochen Arts Camp in 2023 and 2024 (including being chosen for performances in the honors recital, ensemble recital, and on Interlochen Public Radio).
In Anna’s sophomore year, she had a solo recital which raised $1700 for CVSA (an association that funds research for Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, the health condition that she has).
Anna enjoys performing and bringing music to residents at various senior living centers in the Tampa Bay area. She is the Vice President of Entertainment at Brookdale Bayshore Retirement Home, where she performs weekly, through a program organized by her high school.
In addition to being a pianist, Anna is a composer, songwriter, and music producer. In 2022, at age 14, she was a finalist in the National Young Composers Challenge for her wind quintet, “Confused Tempest.”
Anna plans to pursue a college degree in piano performance and a career in music.
