Anna Rakhmatullaev is an imaginative and dedicated 8-year-old violinist who began playing at the age of three and a half. Growing up in a musical family, she has been immersed in music from her earliest years, nurturing a deep and joyful connection to her instrument.
She is currently a student at the Johns Hopkins Peabody Preparatory, where she studies with Dr. Sarah Kheel. At just five years old, she was invited to participate in the Kalamata International Music Days in Greece—an experience that further ignited her love of performance and artistic expression.
At Peabody Preparatory, Anna has received multiple Special Achievement Awards, completed the Elementary I level of the Certificate Program with top scores, and performed in Honors Recitals, reflecting both her musical sensitivity and her developing artistry. In addition to violin, she studies piano and sings in the Peabody Children’s Choir, embracing music in many forms.
Curious and adventurous by nature, Anna enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures. She speaks English, Polish, and Russian, and brings that same sense of curiosity and openness to her music-making.
