Anne’s musical journey began with a spark of curiosity at age 10, captivated by the unique sound of the haegeum, a traditional Korean string instrument, on television. While living in Korea, she eagerly embraced the opportunity to learn, immersing herself in lessons and the rich culture surrounding the instrument. However, at 11, a move to the USA forced her to pause her beloved haegeum studies. Years passed, and the longing to play remained. Then, in 2024, the rise of online learning during the pandemic presented a new hope. Seizing the chance, Anne enthusiastically resumed her haegeum lessons virtually, reigniting her passion and continuing her musical journey across continents.
