Anya has always had a natural ear for music but she started taking Indian classical voice training since she was 4 years old. She transitioned to western classical voice at age 7. Learning the basics of Indian classical music early on made her appreciate the nuances of pitch accuracy and naturally improved her vocal agility. Being exposed to both styles of singing has made her a versatile singer who enjoys listening to and singing songs in different languages like Hindi, Italian and French.
