
Austin Fukuda is an 8th grade student from Irvine, California, who has been playing violin since the age of 5. He has performed as a member of the SCSBOA Honor Orchestra and the Irvine Honors Orchestra at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and as a soloist at the City of Hope Cancer Remission Concert at South Coast Plaza. Austin is also a member of Amati Strings, a group of young musicians dedicated to sharing music with the community through performances at schools, senior centers, hospitals, and other community events.
Austin received 1st Place in Solo Performance at the Satori International Music Festival and was also the winner of the Duet Competition at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. He has received the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award multiple times for his commitment to community service. Austin enjoys continuing to grow as a musician and sharing his love of music with others through both performance and service.
