Benjamin began learning the piano since 6-year old. What started as simple five-finger melodies has gradually grown into a genuine love for making music and discovering new sounds at the keyboard.
Benjamin has explored a variety of repertoire over the past two years. He appreciates the clarity and charm of Friedrich Kuhlau’s Sonatinas, which help him build a strong classical foundation. He also enjoys the lively character pieces of Johann Friedrich Burgmüller, which encourage both technique and musical storytelling. As he continues to grow, Benjamin has begun exploring the expressive world of Frédéric Chopin, including selected Waltzes and Nocturnes, learning how melody and tone can create deeper emotion and color.
In 2025, Benjamin was grateful to receive First Place in the Little Mozart Music Competition and had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. He sees these experiences as encouragement to continue learning, practicing with care, and enjoying every step of his musical journey.
Inspired by his favorite pianist Lang Lang, he believes every piece — no matter how familiar — deserves to be played with feeling, not just like background music. He hopes his music can tell a story and touch people’s hearts. Whether someone is there to learn, listen, or simply relax, Benjamin is thankful for the opportunity to share his music and hopes his playing brings a little light to their day.
