
Caitlin Wang, a 15-year-old from San Diego, California, weaves hope through her piano and violin, passions sparked at ages 4 and 5. Music is her bridge to souls, infusing each note with radiant depth to craft performances that echo like shared dreams.
Her artistry earns global acclaim: in 2025, Caitlin won 1st place in the MTAC Concerto Competition, Young Artist International Premiere Competition, and European Virtuoso Music Awards, alongside MTAC Piano CM Advanced Level with State Honors. In 2024, full scholarships to the San Diego Youth Symphony – Symphony Orchestra and Interlochen Arts Camp, plus 2nd place in the MTAC VOCE Ensemble State Final, affirmed her brilliance. The Heifetz Summer Program (2024) transformed her expressive voice. Her global journey includes a solo with Orchestra Cupiditas in Italy (2023), 1st place at the Burgos International Music Festival (2019), and the “Most Promising Talent” award at the International Academy of Music in Italy at age 8 (2018). In 2022, she secured 1st place in the American Protégé International Competition, 1st Prize (Grand Prize Finalist) in the Young Soloist International Music Competition, and a $1,000 AADGT scholarship, with top honors in the Music International Grand Prix and Clara Schumann International Competition.
Caitlin’s music heals. She raised $15,000 for the UCSD Autism Center of Excellence and $3,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles via the Super Joey Foundation. Her performances at senior homes, Kids’ Turn Organization donor events—supporting children in family transitions—and Rady Children’s Hospital NICU radiate compassion.
A tennis player, swimmer, and ballet dancer, Caitlin blends grace with resolve. Guided by current violin teachers, Michael Tseitlin and Irina Tseitlin, she aspires to touch lives through music’s universal embrace.
