The CIM Trio, featuring the remarkable talents of Caitlin Wang, Alvin Wang, and Huizi Zhong, embodies a rare synergy of musical excellence, collaborative artistry, and social impact. Caitlin Wang, a 15-year-old violinist and pianist from San Diego, has earned top honors in competitions including the MTAC VOCE Solo and Ensemble, International Music Grand Prix, Young Soloist International Music Competition, and Burgos International Music Festival, and raised $15,000 for the UCSD Autism Center of Excellence through a benefit concert. Alvin Wang, a 17-year-old violist, violinist, and pianist, is celebrated for his versatility and expressive depth, with awards including First Prize at the International Academy of Music, honors from the Amadeus, Birmingham, and London Young Musician competitions, and distinction from the Southern California Viola Society; in 2024, he received a full scholarship to the Interlochen Orchestral Program. Pianist Huizi Zhong, a rising chamber musician, brings refined artistry and collaborative finesse to the ensemble, highlighted by her Gold Prize at the Euterpe Music International Awards. Together, the CIM Trio blends individual brilliance with a shared mission to inspire, connect, and make a meaningful difference through the power of classical music.
