
Carie Chen is a 17-year-old pianist from Los Angeles, California. Her passion for classical music began at the age of seven, when she first started studying piano. Since then, her dedication and talent have earned her top honors in multiple international competitions including invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall. Carie is a first-place winner of the Elite International Music Competition (2020,2021, and 2022), Vivaldi International Music Competition (2022), Crescendo International Music Competition (2023), and the Golden Classical Music Awards (2023). She has also received second place in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition (Spring 2021) and the Irvine Conservatory of Music Competition (2024).
Whether performing on stage or composing a new piece, she believes music is a universal language—one she is deeply committed to sharing with others.
