Carrie Julia Liao

Viola for me, it isn’t just an instrument; it’s a voice.I started learning viola when I was at 7. Throughout the learning process, I am always full of interest and addict to the sound of viola. From the beginning, I set ABRSM exams as milestones ,and I passed all the ABRSM exams with all distinctions. In order to inspire myself and learn more in different ways,I used to join two different orchestras. For the second one,I also served as the viola principal in a Carnegie Hall performance. All of these experiences gave me a lot of good influences for how to play music well, not just making the sound. The viola has accompanied my growth from elementary school through high school, and I still keep on going to play it . I hope to become a great performer who can touches people’s hearts with music and create beautiful value to the society and the world.
