Chaewon Lee

I am currently the concert master of our high school orchestra and performed at numerous community events including the Buford City School System Teacher of the Year Banquet, the Buford Tannery Row Artists’ Colony winter open house, the new North side Hospital opening, and the Gwinnett Stripers Minor League baseball game. Additionally, I was the assistant concert master of All State, then the concert master of All State, and last year I was the 6th chair in the All State orchestra. Last year, I received a perfect score on her district-level all-state sightreading excerpt. I have participated in the District 13 orchestra three times and was the concertmaster for the most recent one. I have also participated in the Solo & Ensemble competition and received the highest superior rating. I was a part of the Vivace Ensemble, where I helped to bring music to retirement homes and homeless shelters. Other than that, I volunteer for my church orchestra along with the chamber orchestra to display my given talents and be able to bless others with worship music. I have participated in the Georgia Music Teachers Association competition; I have received the Award of Excellence in the instrumental concerto portion, and I have received an honorable mention for the GMTA Strings portion.
