Chanmin You is a 16-year-old sophomore at Branham High School in San Jose, California. He has been playing the clarinet for about 5 years and has been involved in various music groups, including school marching band, concert band, and the San Jose Youth Symphony (SJYS). Currently, he’s also part of Almaden Youth Musicians (AYM), a nonprofit organization that raises money for people in need through benefit concerts. In addition to his passion for music, Chanmin enjoys staying active through sports like swimming and tennis. Being involved in both music and athletics has taught him important life skills such as discipline, time management, and teamwork. These experiences have not only helped him grow personally but have also given him a better sense of direction for the future. Whether he’s performing on stage or competing in sports, Chanmin always looks for ways to challenge himself and keep improving.
