Charissa Catanus began playing the violin at just 3 ½ years old and currently resides in Southern California. At the age of 13, she made her Walt Disney Concert Hall debut, accompanied by the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra. Charissa has since performed at renowned venues such as Weill Concert Hall at Carnegie Hall, The Nixon Presidential Library, and the Museo del Violino in Cremona, Italy. Outside of music, she is a dedicated pre-professional ballet student at the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School and is a volunteer at Studio D, an organization that brings arts to students of all abilities.
