Charlotte Chung is a resident of Long Grove, Illinois, and currently a sixth-grade student at Woodlawn Middle School. She began her violin studies in February 2022 while in third grade. Since fourth grade, she has been an active participant in her school’s orchestra and is also a member of the chamber orchestra. Charlotte has performed at the Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) State Festival during her fifth and sixth grades. In sixth grade, she auditioned and was selected to represent her school at the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) all-district orchestra. She receives private instruction from Sooji Oh at The Laus Hall violin studio.
