Currently under the tutelage of Miranda Wu, Chelsea Chen has been playing the piano since age 4. She is the 2025 1st Place Winner of the American Prize in Piano Performance, five-time 1st place winner of the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, and has performed in Carnegie Hall, New York; Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles; Teatro Studio, Rome; and Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. Additionally, Chelsea has been a finalist in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival and is a recipient of the Certificate of Merit, Panel Honors distinction. Outside of piano, Chelsea is a violinist and violist of 8 years.
