
Chihiro Sato has studied piano with Rie Hagiwara, Nobiko Miyoshi, Kiyoshi Miyata, and specifically Dr. Ronn Yedidia at the New York Piano Academy for over 20 years. Attended New York University’s Steinhardt School of Music and Performing Arts Professions’ Summer Piano Intensive Program – where she studied with Prof. Eduardus Halim among others.
A three-time winner at American Piano Teachers Convention Competition, 1st prizes in Young Pianist’s Competition of New Jersey and New York City Piano Teachers Congress Competition. Honorable Mention in the 1st International Chopin Piano Competition in ASIA for Middle School Category. 3rd place in Aloha Piano Competition 2021, and 2nd place in 2023. Honorable Mention for the American Virtuoso International Music Competition 2023, and 2nd Prize for the 2024 Competition. These results have brought her to stages such as Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall and Steinway Hall in New York City.
