
Chloe Lim is a Senior attending Winston Churchill High School in Maryland. She has played the piano from a young age. Her interest and skills continue to deepen under the tutelage of Dr. Jeongseon Choi. She has been the pianist for Young Artists of America since 2022 to broaden her musical horizon. Additionally, Chloe is a member of Young Musicians Inspiring Change and has been awarded a president’s award for her performances since 2021. In 2022, she won the gold award at the Montgomery County music teachers’ association piano festival, as well as coming in 1st place in the YMIC Metropolitan Piano Solo Festival. In 2023, she was placed for both the Miriam S. Gottlieb Memorial Piano Competition and Maryland State Music Teachers Association Spring Festival Piano Solo. In 2024, She was honored to play at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall as a winner for American Masters Music Awards. She was also nominated as Runner Up for the 2024 COSMIC Symphony Young Artist Competition in junior Division. In addition to playing the piano, Chloe has also been a cellist in Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras since she was eight years old, and she is presently a member of the Philharmonic orchestra. When She is not making music, she enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and traveling.
