I started playing piano when I was six years old. Although I had many other hobbies back then, piano had been the only thing that has stuck with me to this point. I’ve had countless ups and downs during the 11 years piano has been with me. In 7th grade I got to perform at Carnegie Hall for winning the Progressive Musicians International Competition. After that I went on a 3 year streak of not being able to make any title achievements. I felt discouraged and unhappy to continue pursuing piano. However, during the 2025 OMTA competition, I was named the At-Most winner. Since then, my love and passion for music only grew. I can now boldly state that being able to play piano is my proudest skill, and I hope to carry it throughout my entire life.
