Claire Shu is a sophomore at Davis Senior High School. She currently studies violin under the instruction of Elbert Tsai. Claire is a first violinist in both the Davis Senior High School Symphony and the Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra. She was the concertmaster for the Holmes Junior High School Advanced Orchestra (2023-2024). She enjoys playing chamber music and has participated in the Rising Stars of Chamber Music, directed by Susan Lamb Cook, since 2023.
