Cynthia Qixin Zheng began studying piano at the age of four and immediately fell in love with the instrument and its versatility. From the age of eleven, she has entered various competitions. She placed third in the 7th Steinway Youth Piano Competition as well as second in the American Protege International Music Talent competition. She was also awarded an Outstanding Performance Award in the Singapore Raffles International Competition for Pianists as well as Silver in Season 2 of London Young Musician.
