
Daniel Chang began playing the violin at the age of nine and has shown strong dedication to his musical development ever since. He has performed with the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra and previously served as concertmaster of the Debut Orchestra. Currently, he is the concertmaster of the chamber orchestra at Tyee Middle School, where he actively leads and collaborates with fellow musicians.
In 2025, Daniel won First Place in the Solo Performance Category (Ages 12–13) at the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside. Although he has a deep passion for classical style, he also enjoys contemporary pop and instrumental music.
Outside of music, Daniel enjoys playing golf, drawing, and swimming, which help inspire creativity and balance in his life.
