
Darren Song is a dedicated and passionate violinist/violist whose discipline and artistry have shaped a growing career in both solo and ensemble performance. A 17-year-old musician, he has studied violin and viola for 10 years, developing strong technique, expressive interpretation, and a deep commitment to musical excellence.
Darren has performed extensively in orchestras, chamber groups, and as a soloist. Highlights include the Illinois All-State Honors Orchestra, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, and other festivals, where he has worked with renowned conductors and performed advanced repertoire. He has also earned recognition in competitions, including a Platinum Award in the US-Canadian International Music Competition, for both technical skill and musical maturity.
