
Davin Lee is a passionate clarinetist who’s built his musical foundations from his leadership, musicality, and commitment to community through music. He is the principal clarinetist of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra’s top ensemble and has also held principal roles in its Philharmonic and Concert Orchestras. Davin was selected for the CYSO Core Chamber Orchestra and was named an alternate for the 2025 National Youth Orchestra.
His summers have included study at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, where he performed as priniciple under world-class conductors, and the Interlochen Arts Camp, where he earned a merit scholarship. Davin has also been a multi-year principal clarinetist in the ILMEA All-State and District orchestras.
Outside of performing, Davin co-founded Symphony for Service, a student-led group that brings live classical music to senior and underserved communities. He also serves as a CYSO ambassador, sharing music with schools and young audiences across Chicago
