Hello, my name is Dayeon Ko. I am currently attending an international school in Korea. Since it was a requirement to play an instrument in our school, I started playing the flute in third grade. Because my mom also played the flute, I started my journey off with what she used when she was young. I’ve been in a band since middle school. I’ve won numerous awards, including first place at the Seoul Orchestra Competition, third place at the Korea Flute Association, and a gold medal at the Kimea Solo Competition.
I love classical music, so I’m also the Korean Region Director for a volunteer group called Back to Bach. I’m working to introduce classical music to children who aren’t familiar with it.
Thank you!
