Eliya Wee

Eliya Wee is a 15-year-old violinist from Menlo Park, California. She began learning violin at age two and currently studies violin with Ms. Robin Sharp, senior lecturer at Stanford University. Eliya is a first-violinist at the Golden State Youth Orchestra performing in world-renowned halls such as the Palau de la Música Catalana and Smetana Hall. In 2022, she debuted in Carnegie Hall where she returned in 2025. She was invited to the Gstaad Menuhin Festival as part of the festival youth orchestra in 2022 and 2023. Eliya has won awards at multiple international competitions such as first-place winner at American Protege International Piano & Strings Competition (2022, 2025), Junior Bach Festival (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022), International Music Grand Prix (2021), and United States Open Music Competition (2020). Additionally, she is part of her school’s Jazz Band and founded/teaches Resonate, a program providing free violin lessons to underserved students.
