Emily Huynh is a 13 year old pianist born in San Jose, California, and this is her first big international competition! Starting piano at five and a half, she started her musical journey playing at school recitals and competitions. When she was 8, she started taking the Certificate of Merit exams, where she has taken the exam for levels three to nine. She has earned excellent scores yearly, state honors and has gotten convention invites annually.
